My guest is Bob Delaney. Bob is the author of the new book, Heroes are Human – Lessons in Resilience, Courage, and Wisdom from the COVID Front Lines. Bob has had successful careers in a variety of interesting fields. In the 1970s he worked as a New Jersey State Trooper and went undercover for three years infiltrating the Mafia which led to prosecution of some of the most notorious Mafia figures. Following that, he transitioned to a successful twenty-five-year career as a top NBA official working several playoff and NBA Finals games and was the winner of the 2014 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Mannie Jackson Human Spirit Award. He is an internationally recognized expert on post-traumatic stress and his contributions to PTS awareness and support to military officials and their families have been recognized with many honors and proclamations,
