Meet the Author at Georgia Writers Museum

Georgia Writers Museum Board President, Lou Benjamin heard Bob Delaney speak at a local event and was not only impressed but was convinced Bob would make a unique and special Georgia Writers Museum “Meet The Author” event guest speaker. Even better, Bob’s new book was inspired locally by the sign, outside of Greensboro’s St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital: “Heroes Work Here.” Together, Lou and Bob quickly decided to give a free copy to every hospital worker in the Lake Country. With help from local sponsors books are now ordered and the overwhelming enthusiasm quickly morphed into this event.
